Have Your Insurance Needs Changed in the New Year

Marriage, Divorce, Retirement or Major Purchases can all affect your insurance needs. We always see an increase of clients calling to make changes on their policies at the first of the year. This is when you have a chance to sit down and actually read through all of your insurance paperwork.

Following are questions that you must ask yourself and if you have answered YES to any of them, you should contact your agent or insurance company to see if you are adequately covered.

1. Have you gotten married or divorced?
2. Have you had a baby?
3. Did your teenager get a drivers license?
4. Have you switched employment or possibly lost your job?
5. Have you completed any renovations on your home?
6. Have you bought a vacation home or rental property?
7. Did you obtain valuable jewelry, electronic equipment or furs as a gift?
8. Have you signed a lease on a house, apartment or condo?
9. Have you joined a carpool or use a company vehicle?
10. Have you retired?
Now is a good time to take a look at your insurance portfolio and determine if your needs have changed. Call us at Shadduck Insurance and we would be happy to discuss additional ways to help you save money this year!
